Dr Jessica Kasza is a biostatistician at Monash University in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She received her PhD from the University of Adelaide in 2010 for a thesis on Bayesian networks and graphical models, and her current research interests include cluster randomised trials, causal inference, and health care provider comparison. Dr Kasza is part of an international collaborative network on the development of theory for longitudinal cluster randomised trials, and has a keen interest in the development of more efficient designs and more realistic within-cluster correlation structures. Dr Kasza is the incoming Vice President of the Statistical Society of Australia and is dedicated to making the statistical community inclusive and welcoming.
